Domestic stoves and fireplaces division (HFS)

As early as 1997 SILCA received official general technical approval for its SILCA 250KF board for the thermal insulation of the walls to be protected in the region of fireplaces and tiled stoves. Later, in the course of the further development and continuous improvement of the insulating properties, SILCA 250KM was developed and received approval. In the meantime this board has taken up a leading position in the market for equivalent thermal insulation.

Thanks to its good strength and the large size of the boards, SILCA 250KM is also being used more and more structurally in the field of the lining of furnace systems. In this area we are able to offer the furnace builder not only the boards but also a package of accessories, e.g. primers, adhesives, lime plaster and fine lime plaster. In the area of domestic stoves and fireplaces too, we endeavour to live up to our motto of "Everything from one source" and offer a comprehensive range of accessories extending from organically soluble insulating mats, via cords, high-temperature silicone right through to repair adhesives for the fire chamber.
